Ever since they had those full page popup and autoplay videos, I placed the Gawker/Gizmodo sites on my blacklist for ad-blocking.
I generally run uBlock as allow all, fair is fair that site needs revenue. But if you start putting those kind of ads, mess up Javascript or send malware, you go right on the blacklist.
But I guess I do miss out on hilarious ads like this one.

I need to start running it at work. Jalopnik is becoming un-readable with the page covering ads and the videos that play in the middle of an article.

Depends on location or something because I don’t have ad block and it’s like 1 or 2 ads.
